Job Description: A Hospital Ward Boy (or Ward Assistant) maintains ward hygiene, assists patients with daily living activities (bathing, feeding, toileting), transports patients between departments, and supports nursing staff with equipment and supplies. They ensure patient comfort, safety, and hygiene while adhering to safety protocols. Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Patient Care: Assisting patients with personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, changing clothes, using bedpans/urinals).
- Transportation: Moving patients within the hospital (e.g., from ward to operation theater, radiology, or for discharge).
- Hygiene & Maintenance: Keeping the ward, patient beds, and surrounding areas clean, clean, and organized, including changing linens.
- Support Roles: Serving meals, feeding patients,



and assisting nurses with minor procedures, equipment management, and supplying items.
- Mobility Assistance: Helping patients in and out of bed, transferring to wheelchairs, and assisting with walks or exercises. Required Skills and Qualifications:
