Designation: Supervisor – Automation Electromechanical

Job Location: Al Laith, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Salary: Basic 6000 SAR

Job Description:

1. Lead automation engineering staff assuring compliance, equipment uptime, and development of staff

2. Responsible for maintenance (planned and unplanned) for equipment supporting manufacturing

3. Assist with installation, start up, qualification, and troubleshooting activities..

4. Work with other departments to improve equipment functionality, throughput, and uptime of equipment

5. Interfaces with Operations personnel on issue resolution

6. Educate Operations personnel on proper operation and care of equipment.

7. Performing all tasks while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), /WI manufactures literature, and safety policies. Amend existing SOP’s aligning with best practices

8. Interface with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) and associated process instrumentation.

9. To train engineers/ workshop technicians in building systems and correct setting of parts

10. To gather relevant technical information from other departments and problem solve discrepancies

11. Be responsible for automation stock check and stock take system ,Liaise with purchasing department & management on stock control

12. To present himself as model to the staff for punctuality, hard work which will make a team spirit among the staff to achieve the goal of productivity.

13. Manage the day-to-day activities, goal setting, performance management, and development of the team;

14. Manage team budget, including travel and expense reporting, as well as operational cost of the Automation projects

Responsible for preparing budget estimates, ensuring adequate PO creation through approval and recruiting additional resources as necessary;

16. Ensure proper management of electrical/automation documents (manuals, diagrams, instrument data sheet, software packages/licenses) through efficient filing and archiving procedures.

17. Ensures that team’s technical competence, and behavioral level meets the requirements to achieve team’s mission and objectives.

18. Coordinate with Production, Quality Management and Engineering to resolve any electrical and automation issues.

19. Provide first aid to affected ill and sick person (if 1st aid trained)

20. Shall be directly responsible for maintaining the QMS, FSMS and BRC implementation on the floor.

21. Ensure optimized water and power consumption in respect to total production

MANDATORY (Minimum Qualification) OR PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Control and Automation / Mechatronics / Electronics /Electrical or Diploma

Knowledge: Knowledge about PLC programming. Rockwell knowledge is preferable

Basic Skills & Competencies: Interpersonal skill, Time management, Team management

Experience: 3 years’ experience in Processing Plant with a large fresh food processing system. 4 to 5 years’ experience for Diploma is required.

Technical Skills: Valuable at leadership skill with technical teams, Mechanical and Electrical/Electronics

Other Skills & Competencies Requirement: Computer knowledge MS Office, Excel & Network base

Trainings required to do the Job: Experience working in a regulated GMP environment, Minimum 3 years of process design and process improvement experience

Necessary Tools & Equipment to Perform the Job: Desktop, writing pad and pen.
