Job Description
Play a crucial role in migrating and onboarding applications onto GCP Native services, focusing on Serverless offerings.
Stay updated on evolving cloud technology and understand the integration of GCP Serverless and other native services (Eventarc, Cloud Build, Pub/Sub, etc.) into Ford's standard app hosting environment.
Develop a strong understanding of Containers and Docker, along with experience in Git/Git Hub and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with Business IT and business owners to prioritize improvement efforts and interface with the Ford Cloud Portal team.
Establish best practices to maximize efficiency and minimize risk in Serverless deployments.
Identify prospects for adopting recent technologies to address current and future challenges.
Create and maintain Terraform modules and documentation to deliver valuable working products.
Develop automated processes to simplify the adoption of Serverless and GCP Native services for application teams.
Improve continuous integration tooling by automating manual processes and enhancing quality gates.

Required Qualifications:
2+ years experience with operational user support.




2+ years Docker/Containerization experience.
Experience executing ITIL processes (Incident, Request, Change management).
Understanding of Networking and Network Architecture.
Experience with public cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
Familiarity with GCP Native Services, Tekton, and Terraform.
Understanding of Google Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts and authentication/authorization options.
Working experience in CI/CD pipelines, including building pipelines using Tekton or similar technologies.
Understanding of Git Ops and other Dev Ops processes and principles.
Knowledge of any programming language (e.g., Java, Python, Go).
Understanding of agile methodologies or experience working in an agile environment.

Leadership Qualifications:
Highly motivated with robust technical skills and understanding of emerging technologies.
Demonstrate a high level of technical competence and maturity.
Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Ability to assess and resolve business user needs.
