Role Description
The Student Volunteer – Chennai role is a hybrid volunteer position, based in Chennai with the flexibility to complete some tasks from home. Day-to-day activities may include supporting local events and campaigns, coordinating with team members, assisting in outreach to students and community groups, and contributing to social impact projects. Volunteers may help with planning and logistics for on-ground initiatives, documenting activities,



and sharing updates through digital channels as needed. The role is designed to provide hands-on experience in community engagement while allowing volunteers to balance academic commitments. This is an unpaid volunteer role focused on learning, contribution, and leadership development.

Qualifications
Interest in youth development, community service, and social impact initiatives.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills to interact with peers, mentors, and community members.
Ability to work both independently and in a team, with a responsible and proactive attitude.
Basic familiarity with digital tools (email, messaging apps, social media) for coordination and outreach.
Currently a student or recent graduate, preferably based in or able to travel to Chennai.
Willingness to commit a few hours per week and attend occasional in-person meetings or events.
Prior volunteering or leadership experience in clubs, associations, or social initiatives is an advantage but not required.
