Responsibilities
Integrate airport products, field equipment, and third-party systems using APIs, brokers, events, and webhooks.
Model equipment state, telemetry, alarms, health, control commands, and command results.
Define source-of-truth, sequencing, timing, reconciliation, and ownership rules for operational data.
Handle duplicate, late, missing, malformed, and out-of-order messages through resilient integration patterns.
Implement secure authentication, certificates, schemas, versioning, contract tests, and interface observability.
Support customer workshops, simulators, integration testing, site deployment, troubleshooting, and stabilisation.

Requirements
5+ years in API integration,



backend development, or systems integration.
Robust REST, XML, JSON, OpenAPI, schemas, OAuth2, JWT, and certificate-management knowledge.
Experience with Java/Quarkus, Node.js, Python, or comparable backend technologies.
Experience with SOAP, WebSphere, RabbitMQ, Kafka, MQTT, AMQP, webhooks, or asynchronous messaging.
Knowledge of idempotency, retries, timeouts, ordering, replay, and eventual consistency.
Industrial equipment, IoT, SCADA, aviation, or mission-critical integration experience is preferred.

Soft Skills
Robust systems thinking and structured troubleshooting.
Ability to clarify incomplete or conflicting interface requirements.
Clear customer-facing and technical communication.
Discipline in documenting assumptions, ownership, mappings, and failure behaviour.
Early and transparent communication of risks and dependencies.
Ownership from interface discovery through production stabilisation.
