Job Summary:
Manipal Hospitals is looking for an experienced Operation Theatre (OT) Scrub Nurse to join our surgical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and maintaining a sterile operating room, assisting surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring the availability of instruments and supplies, and delivering safe, high-quality patient care. Candidates with Orthopaedic OT or Cardiac OT (Open Heart Surgery) experience will be given preference.

Role & responsibilities
Prepare and maintain a sterile operating room.
Arrange surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Assist surgeons by passing instruments during surgery.
Monitor patients' vital signs throughout procedures.
Follow strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
Document surgical procedures and patient observations.




Educate patients and families on pre- and post-operative care.
Work closely with surgeons, anesthetists, and other healthcare professionals.
Participate in ongoing training and career development.

Preferred candidate profile
Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.
Experience in OT or surgical nursing (preferred).
Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
Positive communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced workplace.
Attention to detail and adherence to hospital protocols.
BLS and ACLS certification.
Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records).
