Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and support enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure.
Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and wireless controllers.
Manage routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and static routing.
Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, EtherChannel, and inter-VLAN routing.
Implement and support VPN technologies (Site-to-Site, Remote Access, IPSec, SSL VPN).
Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity using network monitoring tools.
Perform network troubleshooting and root cause analysis for connectivity and performance issues.
Configure and manage network security devices, including firewalls and ACLs.
Ensure high availability through redundancy and failover configurations.
Work with ISPs and telecom providers to resolve WAN connectivity issues.
Maintain network documentation, diagrams, SOPs, and change records.
Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives.
Perform firmware upgrades, patch management, and preventive maintenance.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VLANs, and subnetting.
Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, HPE, Aruba,



or Fortinet networking devices.
Positive understanding of routing and switching concepts.
Experience with WAN technologies such as MPLS, SD-WAN, and leased lines.
Knowledge of network security concepts including ACLs, VPNs, and firewalls.
Experience with wireless technologies (Cisco/Aruba Wireless).
Familiarity with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or Zabbix.
Understanding of QoS, High Availability (HSRP/VRRP), and load balancing.
Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
Positive analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
SD-WAN implementation and support.
Cisco DNA Center, Cisco ISE, or Aruba Central.
Network automation using Python, Ansible, or scripting.
Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
NAC (Network Access Control) solutions.
Experience with enterprise firewall platforms such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco Firepower.
