Duties / Responsibilities
Handling procurement activities for bought-out parts for railway bogie frames, including castings, forgings, machined parts, piping & pipe fittings, and fabricated assembly parts.
Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for bogie frame bought-out parts procurement, ensuring alignment with company policies and quality standards.
Source materials at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely delivery.
Cultivate solid relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish favorable terms and conditions for procurement transactions.
Continuously assess supplier performance based on quality, delivery, and cost-effectiveness, taking corrective actions as required.




Identify suppliers for various bogie projects from the Indian Railways Vendor Directory where approved source conditions are applicable.

Skills Required
Robust negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strategic mindset.
Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional departments.
