Role Responsibilities
Lead clinical decision-making in ICU settings for critically ill patients, including sepsis, ARDS, multi-organ failure, and post-operative complications.
Oversee daily rounds, chart reviews, and interdisciplinary care coordination with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and respiratory therapists.
Perform and supervise invasive procedures including central line placement, intubation, chest tube insertion, and arterial line monitoring.
Implement evidence-based protocols for sedation, weaning, ventilator management, and sepsis bundles aligned with international standards (Surviving Sepsis, SCCM).
Provide real-time tele-ICU consultation support for partner hospitals via integrated digital dashboard and EHR platforms.
Contribute to quality improvement initiatives including mortality reviews, protocol audits, and staff training on ICU best practices.
Skills Qualifications
Must-Have
DNB/MD Critical Care Medicine
ICU experience in tertiary/quaternary care hospitals
Proficiency in mechanical ventilation modes and hemodynamic monitoring
(Point-of-Care Ultrasound)
ACLS certification
Experience with EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner, or hospital-specific platforms)
Preferred
Experience in tele-ICU or remote critical care models
Publications or presentations in critical care journals or conferences
Teaching or mentorship experience with junior residents/fellows
