Role & responsibilities
Checking and reviewing General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detailed 2D fabrication drawings, and 3D models.
Preparing and reviewing engineering drawings in accordance with client specifications, applicable standards, and project requirements.
Ensuring drawing quality, accuracy, and compliance before client submission.
Coordinating with clients to resolve technical comments, drawing revisions, and engineering queries.
Reviewing and guiding the preparation of fabrication and assembly drawings.
Providing technical support and mentoring junior designers and draftsmen.
Coordinating with project, design, and production teams for timely completion of deliverables.
Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.
Reviewing Bills of Materials (BOM) and supporting engineering documentation.
Knowledge and experience in steel structure design and detailing will be an added advantage.

Preferred candidate profile

12+ years of experience in engineering design and drafting. Retired or nearing retirement specialists who wish to continue their career or as a consultant are also encouraged to apply.
