Role & responsibilities
Supervise daily tablet compression operations.
Ensure production schedules are met according to the manufacturing plan.
Monitor tablet quality parameters such as weight variation, hardness, thickness, friability, and appearance.
Ensure compliance with GMP, SOPs, data integrity, and regulatory guidelines.
Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Engineering, and Warehouse departments.
Verify line clearance before batch initiation.
Review and maintain Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs) and production documentation.
Investigate production deviations, non-conformances, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Optimize machine utilization and minimize downtime.
Ensure proper operation, cleaning, and maintenance of tablet compression machines.




Train and develop operators and production staff.
Monitor productivity, yield, and process efficiency.
Participate in validation, qualification, and process improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with EHS (Setting, Health & Safety) standards.

Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
58 years of experience in pharmaceutical tablet manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Knowledge of tablet compression machines (e.g., Fette, Korsch, Cadmach, or GEA).
Solid understanding of GMP, cGMP, FDA, MHRA, EU GMP, and WHO guidelines.
Experience in documentation, audits, and regulatory inspections.
