Job Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for Buying & Merchandising of FMCG categories including Food, Non-Food, and Fresh & Vegetables (F&V;) for the Omni-Channel business of EAZLY.

The role will focus on driving category sales, profitability, inventory optimization, product assortment, vendor relationships, and customer experience across both digital and physical retail channels. The incumbent will also be responsible for generating additional revenue through sale of visibility and promotional spaces on the EAZLY App and Stores, while ensuring effective management of RTV (Return to Vendor) and inventory health.

Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end buying and merchandising for Food, Non-Food, and F&V; categories.
Develop category plans, assortment strategies, and pricing architecture to drive sales and margins.
Source products and negotiate commercials, trade schemes, rebates, and promotional support with vendors.
Ensure optimum product availability and inventory levels across all omni-channel touchpoints.
Monitor sales, margins, stock cover, inventory ageing, and category profitability.




Drive additional income through sale of digital and in-store visibility assets, including banners, sponsored listings, shelf displays, endcaps, and promotional activations on the EAZLY App and stores.
Acquire annual marketing support and trade investments from brand partners.
Manage the complete RTV process for damaged, defective, expired, and slow-moving inventory, ensuring timely recovery and vendor settlements.
Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Store teams to ensure seamless execution of category plans and promotions.
Track market trends, competition, and consumer buying patterns to identify growth prospects.
Ensure achievement of category sales, margin, trade income, and inventory productivity targets.

Preferred Experience
5+ years of experience in FMCG Buying, Category Management, and Merchandising.
Experience handling Food, Non-Food, and/or Fresh categories in Retail, or Omni-Channel businesses.
Robust negotiation, analytical, inventory management, and vendor management skills.
