Hiring: MEP Engineer (Electrical) | 4+ Years Experience

Job Title

MEP Engineer Electrical

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering.
Additional certifications in MEP or Project Management are an added advantage.

Experience
Minimum 4+ years of experience in MEP projects.
Experience in commercial, residential, industrial, or real estate projects is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and supervise electrical MEP works as per approved drawings and project specifications.
Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders for seamless project execution.
Review MEP drawings, BOQs, technical specifications, and shop drawings.
Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within project timelines and quality standards.
Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, lighting, earthing, fire alarm systems, and related services.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and industry standards.
Conduct site inspections,



identify technical issues, and implement corrective actions.
Coordinate with procurement teams for timely material approvals and deliveries.
Verify contractor bills, measurements, and work completion reports.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
Support project handover, snag rectification, and final documentation.

Required Skills
Solid knowledge of electrical MEP systems and project execution.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and MEP drawings.
Experience in installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and statutory regulations.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
Positive communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Graduate in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Minimum 4 years of relevant MEP project experience.
Robust coordination and site management skills.
Willingness to travel between project sites if required.
