"We are seeking an experienced Fire Fighting Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M;) team at the Seabird Project, Karwar, Karnataka. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the installation, operation, maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of fire protection and firefighting systems to ensure the safety and reliability of project facilities.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of firefighting systems and equipment.
Inspect, test, and maintain fire pumps, hydrant systems, sprinkler systems, hose reels, fire extinguishers, and associated firefighting equipment.
Monitor the operational readiness of fire detection and alarm systems.
Troubleshoot and rectify faults in firefighting equipment and related systems.
Conduct routine inspections and maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment status.
Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company safety procedures.




Assist during emergency situations and support fire response activities whenever required

Coordinate with the O&M; team to ensure uninterrupted operation of fire protection systems.
Maintain housekeeping standards in fire pump rooms and equipment areas.
Report equipment deficiencies and recommend corrective actions to the supervisor.

Preferred Experience

("Note: Mandatory ITI Certification")

Minimum 4+ years* of experience in Operations & Maintenance of firefighting systems.
Experience in industrial plants, infrastructure projects, naval facilities, ports, power plants, shipyards, or other large-scale facilities will be preferred.
