Role & responsibilities
Perform preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of welding fixtures.
Ensure fixture availability to achieve production targets.
Inspect and repair welding fixtures, clamps, locators, pins, cylinders, and stopper units.
Carry out fixture alignment, calibration, and dimensional checks.
Troubleshoot pneumatic and mechanical fixture issues.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams to minimize downtime.
Plan and execute periodic maintenance activities.
Maintain fixture spare parts inventory and raise purchase requisitions when required.
Support recent fixture installation, trial runs, and production start-up.
Ensure compliance with TPM, 5S, and safety standards.
Prepare daily maintenance reports and equipment history records.
Analyze recurring fixture failures and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Guide and supervise technicians and maintenance team members.
Coordinate with tool room and vendors for fixture modifications and repairs.
