Roles & Responsibilities Operations Manager Bihar
Reporting To: Head Operations Bihar

To manage and control overall depot and godown operations across the state, ensuring smooth cement dispatches, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, manpower management, as per company standards.

Depot & Godown Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations of all depots and godowns within the state.
Ensure smooth receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of cement.
Oversee and maintain accurate stock records and physical inventory at all locations.
Monitor cement aging, stock rotation (FIFO), and damaged stock control.
Ensure reconciliation between physical stock and SAP/system stock.
Control in inventory losses, shortages, and wastage.
Coordinate with Handling Agent, sales team, and depot teams for timely dispatches as per Ultratech Cement Norms
Team Management
Supervise Depot Accountant, Godown Keepers staff, and contract labor and guide and train them their Roles and Responsibilities as per Ultratech Cement Norms
Conduct their performance reviews and operational training programs.




Ensure manpower availability across depot and godown locations
Maintain discipline and operational accountability across all Godowns and depot
Improve Godown operational KPIs such as loading efficiency, stock accuracy, and dispatch turnaround time.

Safety & Compliance
Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory norms across all Depots and Godowns , as per Ultratech Cement SOPs
Conduct regular Godown safety inspections
MIS & Reporting
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational MIS reports.
Monitor depot-wise stock position, dispatch status, aging stock, and expenses.
Present operational performance reviews to management.
Audit & Control
Conduct surprise stock audits and operational reviews across all Godowns within the state.
Ensure proper documentation and record maintenance at all depots and Godowns within the state.
Prevent pilferage, fraud, and operational irregularities.
