Qualification

MS Ophthalmology

DNB Ophthalmology

Registration

Valid MMC / State Medical Council Registration

Experience

Experienced candidates preferred

Candidates should be capable of independently managing comprehensive ophthalmology services

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive Eye OPD consultations
Diagnose and treat common ophthalmic disorders
Perform cataract surgeries (Phaco/SICS) as per expertise
Manage glaucoma, corneal, retinal, and anterior segment cases
Handle ophthalmic emergencies and trauma cases
Perform pre-operative evaluation and post-operative follow-up
Interpret diagnostic investigations including OCT, Fundus Evaluation, Visual Field, and B-Scan as required
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure quality patient care
Coordinate with OT staff and multidisciplinary teams

Skills Required




Strong clinical and surgical skills in Ophthalmology
Excellent diagnostic and decision-making abilities
Good communication and patient counselling skills
Professional, ethical, and patient-centric approach
Ability to work independently in a hospital setup
