About the Role

We are looking for Senior Individual Contributors (ICs) and Technical Leads to join a highly independent, 67 member product engineering team. You will be building our next-generation, in-house Equipment Finance Solution completely from scratch.

This is a 90% recent application development roleno legacy maintenance traps. If you love clean code, system architecture, and seeing your design decisions come to life in production, this is the team for you.

What You Will Do
Greenfield Engineering: Write clean, scalable, and production-ready code for a brand-recent financial product.
API Architecture: Take absolute ownership of end-to-end REST API design and microservices architecture.
Quality First: Practice strict Test-Driven Development (TDD) to ensure high test coverage and robust deployments.
Event-Driven Systems: Design backend systems utilizing modern messaging bus architectures.
For Tech Leads: Lead system design sessions, mentor senior engineers, and take ultimate ownership of the team's technical deliverables.





Mandatory Skills & Experience (Strict Screening Criteria)

Please apply only if you meet all of the following requirements:
Product Development Background: A proven track record in core product/application development (Roles limited to support or maintenance will not be considered).
Java & Spring Boot: Deep hands-on expertise with Java 8+ and modern Spring frameworks.
Advanced API Design: Heavy, verifiable experience designing and building complex Microservices and REST APIs from scratch.
Messaging Bus: Strong experience utilizing messaging queues/buses (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar) in a distributed backend architecture.
TDD & Design: A solid commitment to Test-Driven Development (TDD), clean code principles, and design patterns.
For Lead Applicants: Demonstrated experience owning system design end-to-end and driving delivery for an agile team.
