Assistant Professor Computer Applications

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Assistant Professor in Computer Applications to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses, conducting research, mentoring students, and contributing to departmental activities. This role requires a passion for teaching, a solid academic background, and expertise in computer applications and emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver lectures, lab sessions, and tutorials for computer application-related subjects (e.g., programming, data structures, software engineering, databases, web technologies).
Develop curriculum and prepare course materials in alignment with academic standards and industry trends.
Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, and research.
Engage in scholarly research, publish in reputed journals, and present at conferences.
Participate in academic advising and contribute to the overall development of the department.




Collaborate with colleagues for departmental planning, accreditation, and administrative responsibilities.
Stay current with developments in the field and integrate recent technologies and methods into teaching.

Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Computer Applications is Mandatory
Demonstrated ability or potential to conduct research and publish scholarly work.
Teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.
Robust knowledge in areas such as programming languages, operating systems, data analytics, machine learning, or cloud computing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desirable Skills:
Proficiency in online teaching tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
Industry experience or certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., Java, Python, AWS, AI/ML).
Experience guiding undergraduate or postgraduate research.
