Position: Purchase Manager Heavy Machinery & Mechanical Procurement

SEERAJ GROUP is looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with a Mechanical Engineering background to lead procurement operations for heavy machinery, technical spare parts, capital equipment, and engineering materials supporting our crane rental, logistics, and infrastructure businesses.

Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of heavy machinery spare parts, mechanical components, lifting equipment, and engineering consumables.
Develop and manage OEMs, manufacturers, distributors, and strategic vendors.
Conduct commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
Manage the complete Purchase Order (PO) lifecycle.
Coordinate with engineering, maintenance, workshop, and project teams for procurement planning.
Conduct technical evaluations of spare parts and equipment.
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid operational downtime.
Monitor inventory levels and optimize procurement costs.
Conduct vendor audits and supplier performance evaluations.




Generate procurement MIS, cost analysis, and vendor performance reports.
Visit project sites when required for inspections and technical coordination.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Mandatory
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
5–7 years of procurement experience
Experience in Construction, Infrastructure, Heavy Equipment, Crane Rental, EPC, Engineering, or Industrial Manufacturing
Solid technical understanding of mechanical components and heavy machinery
Experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel
Solid vendor management and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel to project sites

Preferred
Experience in heavy equipment procurement
