We have an urgent contract prospect with a leading MNC Client for experienced API Automation Test Engineers.

Role: API Automation Test Engineer
Experience: 612 Years
Location: Bangalore / Chennai / Gurgaon / Pune / Kolkata / Hyderabad
Employment Type: Contract to Hire

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days (Candidates who can join by the end of July will be preferred.)

Required Skills:
Solid experience in API Automation Testing
Hands-on experience with REST Assured and Postman
Experience in JMeter for Performance Testing
Hands-on experience with Playwright
Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript
Experience with any Cloud Platform (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Roles & Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and execute API automation test scripts
Perform functional, regression, and performance testing
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using REST Assured and Playwright
Execute performance testing using JMeter and analyze results
Collaborate with developers, QA teams,



and business stakeholders to ensure application quality
Participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD processes
Troubleshoot and resolve testing issues while maintaining automation best practices

Preferred Skills:
Experience with CI/CD pipelines
Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices
Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
