We are seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to handle the procurement of civil construction materials. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing quality materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring timely procurement at competitive prices.
Key Responsibilities
Procure civil construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, bricks, electrical, plumbing, and finishing materials.
Source and manage vendors and negotiate pricing and terms.
Prepare purchase orders and compare quotations.
Coordinate with site/project teams to meet material requirements.
Monitor inventory and ensure timely material availability.
Maintain procurement records and ensure quality standards.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement of civil construction materials.
Relevant experience is mandatory; educational qualification is adaptable for candidates with proven expertise.
Solid negotiation, vendor management, and MS Excel/ERP skills.
