About the Role

We are hiring for the Global Information Reporting (GIR) Team. This role focuses on tax documentation review, due diligence, regulatory compliance, and information reporting related to FATCA, CRS, W-8/W-9 forms, 1099, and 1042-S reporting. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing client tax due diligence, validating tax documentation, supporting withholding tax compliance, identifying reporting exceptions, and ensuring accurate regulatory reporting in accordance with U.S. tax regulations and global reporting standards. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in tax operations, information reporting, due diligence processes, and regulatory compliance within the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities
Review, validate, and maintain IRS tax forms including W-8BEN, W-8BEN-E, W-8IMY, W-8EXP, and W-9.
Perform FATCA and CRS due diligence, account classification, remediation, and reporting activities.
Support preparation, validation, and reconciliation of Forms 1099 and 1042-S.
Ensure accurate withholding tax treatment based on client tax documentation and regulatory requirements.
Investigate and resolve tax documentation exceptions and reporting discrepancies.




Conduct quality checks and maintain compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
Partner with Operations, Compliance, Onboarding, and Client Service teams to resolve tax-related queries.
Support annual tax reporting cycles and regulatory deadlines.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience with FATCA, CRS, W-8, W-9, 1099, and/or 1042-S processes.
Valuable understanding of U.S. Tax Information Reporting and Withholding regulations.
Experience in tax operations, regulatory reporting, client onboarding, or financial services operations.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP preferred).
Valuable communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
CA, CPA, EA, ACCA (Qualified/Pursuing) preferred but not mandatory.
