Roles & Responsibilities
Operate CNC VTL, VMC, CNC Lathe, and Milling machines independently.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
Set up jobs by loading tools, fixtures, and workpieces as per production requirements.
Perform machine offset adjustments and tool wear compensation during machining.
Inspect finished components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and Dial Indicators.
Ensure components meet dimensional accuracy and quality specifications.
Monitor machine performance and identify any abnormalities during operation.
Change cutting tools and inserts whenever required.
Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
Maintain production records, inspection reports, and machine logbooks.
Follow production schedules to achieve daily output targets.
Minimize material wastage and improve machine utilization.
Adhere to 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and company safety standards.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams to resolve machining issues.
Report machine breakdowns, tool failures, or quality concerns to supervisors immediately.
