Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented YouTube Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of YouTube content, storytelling, audience retention, and up-to-date editing techniques. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand and maximize viewer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Edit long-form and short-form YouTube videos.
Create engaging intros, outros, transitions, and motion graphics.
Add captions, sound effects, background music, and visual effects where appropriate.
Improve pacing and storytelling to maximize audience retention.
Color correct and enhance video/audio quality.
Design or collaborate on thumbnails and visual branding.
Repurpose long-form content into YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other social media formats.
Ensure videos meet YouTube best practices and platform requirements.
Manage project files and deliver edits within agreed deadlines.
Incorporate feedback and revisions efficiently.

Required Skills
Strong understanding of YouTube editing styles and audience engagement.




Experience with motion graphics and basic animation.
Knowledge of color grading, audio mixing, and video compression.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Robust attention to detail and creativity.
Excellent communication and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience editing YouTube content.
Portfolio showcasing YouTube or digital content.
Experience editing videos for creators, brands, or agencies.
Familiarity with YouTube Analytics and audience retention metrics.
Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop or Canva) are a plus.

Deliverables
High-quality edited YouTube videos.
YouTube Shorts and social media clips.
Thumbnail support (preferred but optional).
Organized project files and assets.
