Role & responsibilities:
Design develop, and execute automated test scripts for web-based applications.
Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Perform manual testing.
Understand and test against e-commerce business flows such as cart management, checkout, payments, and order tracking.
Conduct database validations by writing and executing SQL queries to ensure data integrity and backend accuracy.
Utilize Linux commands to perform log analysis, server verification, and test setting setup.
Perform API testing using tools like Postman, Swagger, or similar (Optional)
Test mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms.
Participate in defect triage meetings, track bugs,



and assist in root cause analysis.

Preferred candidate profile:
Proven experience in Web-based application testing.
Solid understanding of E-commerce domain workflows.
Solid knowledge of manual testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience with database testing must be proficient in writing SQL queries.
Working knowledge of Linux commands for QA-related tasks (logs, services, files).
Familiarity with any test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
