Role & responsibilities
Perform in-process quality inspections for injection moulded components.
Conduct First Piece Approval (FPA) and Line Clearance before production.
Monitor critical dimensions using measuring instruments.
Handle customer complaints and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Perform Root Cause Analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Pareto Analysis.
Ensure compliance with Control Plans, SOPs, and Inspection Standards.
Conduct process audits, layered process audits (LPA), and product audits.
Coordinate with Production, Tool Room, and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
Verify mould changes, machine settings, and process parameters from a quality perspective.
Review daily rejection reports and implement actions to reduce defects.
Maintain quality documentation, inspection reports, and traceability records.
Support internal, customer, and certification audits.
Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Participate in continuous improvement and Kaizen activities.
