Role Summary

We are seeking a DBA SME with strong MS SQL Developer and MSBI expertise, PostgreSQL to build, manage, and optimize enterprise data platforms.

This role requires a balanced skillset across database administration, SQL development, ETL, and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on scalability, automation, and performance.

Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases in production Design multi-tenant database architectures and scalable data models Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions Build and maintain ETL pipelines using SSIS and custom scripts Develop reports and dashboards using SSRS Implement HA/DR, backup, and replication strategies Perform performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization Automate deployments using CI/CD and schema migration tools Monitor database performance and ensure availability Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and analytics teams

Required Skills

PostgreSQL (Core DBA) Installation, configuration, upgrades Replication (Streaming/Patroni), backup (pgBackRest, PITR)



Performance tuning and query optimization Multi-tenant design and database security MS SQL Server (Developer + Admin) Robust T-SQL development (joins, CTEs, window functions, performance tuning)

Hands-on experience with: Stored procedures, functions, triggers Query optimization and execution plan analysis

SQL Server administration basics: backups, indexing, Always On (positive to have) MSBI (Data Engineering)

SSIS: ETL design, data migration, transformation pipelines

SSRS: report and dashboard development

SSAS: exposure (nice to have) Dev + Infra Skills Scripting: Bash / Python CI/CD integration for DB deployments

Cloud: AWS (RDS/Aurora), Azure SQL/Postgres, GCP Cloud SQL

Positive to Have

Docker / Kubernetes Cross-platform data integration (Postgres SQL Server) Multi-cloud/hybrid architecture SRE practices and incident management
