Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, Paginated reports, and dashboards based on business requirements.
Gather, analyze, and translate business needs into technical specifications and data models.
Build effective data models in Power BI (star/snowflake schemas, relationships, calculated columns, and measures using DAX).
Use Power Query to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources (SQL databases, Excel, cloud sources).
Optimize report performance (query folding, aggregations, incremental refresh, measures optimization).
Implement and manage row-level security (RLS) and follow governance standards for data access and security.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy through validation, testing, and documentation.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business users to align BI solutions with business goals.
Publish and manage content in Power BI Service, including workspaces, apps, dataflows, and refresh schedules.
Provide user training, support, and best-practice guidance to self-service Power BI users.
Stay current with current Power BI features and recommend improvements to existing BI solutions.




Create flows/schedules in Power Automate and create interface through Power Apps to publish reports.

Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Hands-on experience 6+ years building reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI.
Strong proficiency in DAX for building calculated measures and advanced calculations.
Solid experience with Power Query/M and data transformation techniques.
Valuable understanding of relational databases, SQL querying, and data modeling concepts (facts, dimensions, star schema).
Experience connecting to and integrating multiple data sources (on-premises and cloud).
Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance concepts.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work closely with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and convert them into technical designs.
