Job Description
Solid expertise in IBM Mainframe, IBM COBOL, CICS, IMS, VSAM, DB2, JCL, and other Mainframe/COBOL platform technologies.
Experience working within the IBM Mainframe environment & ecosystem or any other COBOL platform.
Act as a Mainframe/COBOL Platform SME for key technical discussions during source application analysis and inventory understanding phases of modernization programs.
Drive design and development activities to achieve desired outcomes through converted code.
Collaborate with customer application SMEs.
Offer ideas and options for complex legacy technology constructs and how they can be converted to target technologies.
Proactively tackle challenges as they arise.
Provide continuous improvement feedback for product enrichment.
Willingness to learn distributed settings.

Valuable to Have
Experience in Application Modernization/Mainframe Data Migration projects.
Knowledge of Java, Databases, Java Application Architecture, and Cloud Deployment.
Exposure to AI/GenAI technologies.
Prior experience in the BFSI domain.
