We are looking for an experienced SQL Database Administrator (SQL DBA) with 5+ years of experience in managing, optimizing, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server environments across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Location: Chennai

Work Model: Night Shift USA Alaska Time Zone

Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server (2019/2022/2025) settings.
Manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Always On Availability Groups, clustering, log shipping, and replication.
Support cloud and hybrid database environments, including Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, and Azure Virtual Machines running SQL Server.
Participate in database migration projects from on-premises to Azure.
Perform database backup, restore, and recovery activities.
Monitor database health, performance, and capacity, and proactively resolve issues.




Implement database security, access controls, and compliance standards.
Troubleshoot production incidents and optimize database performance.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and T-SQL.
Collaborate with application teams to implement database best practices.

Required Skills:
Robust experience in Microsoft SQL Server Administration (2019/2022/2025).
Experience with Azure SQL services and hybrid database environments.
Hands-on experience with Always On Availability Groups, clustering, log shipping, and replication.
Proficiency in T-SQL, PowerShell, performance tuning, and database optimization.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is an added advantage.
