Role & responsibilities
Source and procure quality raw materials, packaging, and other supplies at competitive prices.
Compare quotations, negotiate with vendors, and issue purchase orders on time.
Coordinate with stores and production teams to maintain optimum inventory levels.
Track deliveries, verify invoices, and ensure timely receipt of materials.
Develop and maintain solid vendor relationships while ensuring quality, cost, and on-time supply.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
25 years of purchasing experience, preferably in the food or bakery industry.
Solid negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.
Proficient in MS Excel and ERP/Tally software with good documentation skills.
Valuable communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detai
