Role & responsibilities :
Procure civil construction materials as per project requirements.
Source, evaluate, and develop vendors and suppliers.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate the best commercial terms.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
Coordinate with site engineers to ensure timely material delivery.
Monitor material availability and prevent project delays.
Verify invoices, delivery challans, and procurement documents.
Maintain procurement records and vendor databases.
Ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely procurement of materials.
Work closely with project, stores, and accounts teams for smooth procurement operations.

Preferred candidate profile :
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
37 years of procurement experience in civil construction, real estate, or infrastructure projects.
Solid knowledge of construction materials and supplier network.
Valuable negotiation and communication skills.
Experience in handling multiple project procurement requirements.
Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP MM or equivalent is preferred.
Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate effectively with site teams.
