Mandatory Technical Skills
Strong hands-on experience in Node.js (v16 and above) with good understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, error handling, and performance optimization.
Solid experience with PostgreSQL or MySQL, including database design, SQL query writing, joins, indexing, transactions, and query optimization.
Valuable proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript, including promises, async/await, modules, and modern JavaScript concepts.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Good experience with Git/Bitbucket, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, and merge conflict resolution.
Understanding of secure coding practices, including JWT, OAuth2, and API security fundamentals.
Positive knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
Hands-on experience with Angular (2+), including components, services, routing, reactive forms, API integration, and debugging.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams using Jira and Confluence.
Ability to perform impact analysis, troubleshoot issues,



and maintain technical documentation.
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, Secrets Manager, SNS/SQS, and IAM.
Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
Experience with Docker or CI/CD pipelines is an added advantage.
Experience writing unit tests using Jest, Mocha, or Chai.
Basic understanding of caching mechanisms such as Redis.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js and relational databases.
Build and enhance Angular-based frontend features.
Develop secure and scalable REST APIs.
Participate in feature development, bug fixing, and production support.
Perform impact analysis before implementing changes.
Optimize application performance and database queries.
Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, DevOps, and Product teams.
Maintain technical documentation and support deployment activities.
