We are looking for a Database Engineer with a solid database development background. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SQL Server development, database design, query optimisation, ETL, and performance tuning. This role focuses on database engineering and application development support, not production database administration.

Role & responsibilities
Design and develop SQL Server database objects (Stored
Procedures, Functions, Views, Triggers).
Optimise SQL queries and database performance.
Design database schemas and data models.
Develop ETL processes and support data migration.
Collaborate with application development teams.
Maintain database documentation.

Required Skills:
MS SQL Server and T-SQL development.
Query optimisation and performance tuning.
Database design and data modelling.
ETL development and data migration.
Git/Azure DevOps and CI/CD concepts.
Exposure to Azure/AWS/GCP is an added advantage.

Note: Candidates with a database development/engineering background are preferred. Production Support/SQL DBA profiles will not be considered.
