Role & responsibilities :
Supervise end-to-end leather belt production from raw material to dispatch.
Plan daily production schedules and achieve production targets.
Inspect raw materials for quality and compliance with specifications.
Select appropriate leather based on grade, thickness and product requirements.
Optimize leather utilization and minimize material wastage.
Set up and monitor production machinery and equipment.
Supervise cutting, splitting, skiving, stitching and assembly operations.
Oversee edge finishing, embossing, hole punching and buckle fitting.
Ensure product quality through in-process and final inspections.
Troubleshoot production and machine-related issues.
Monitor productivity, quality, rejection and rework levels.
Train, guide and supervise production operators.
Maintain production, quality and inventory records.
Coordinate with stores,



maintenance, quality and dispatch teams.
Ensure preventive machine maintenance and minimize downtime.
Enforce safety, housekeeping and standard operating procedures.
Support product development, sampling and recent product launches.
Drive continuous improvement in productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
Ensure timely packing, labeling and dispatch of finished goods.
