Job Title: Jr. Engr. To Sr. Engr.

Functional Role: Line Engineer

Industry Type: Automobile parts -machining

Position Role & Responsibilities:

Production Plan to be achieved as per daily/weekly/monthly plan

Should be able to manage shift operators & achieve daily Plan

Monitoring of OEE losses and implement actions to reduce losses

& improve OEE

Productivity improvement through SMED, SWCT, Poka yoke

Ensure communications are cascaded to all shifts effectively

Practicing of 1s 2s on regular basis

Ensure monthly operators suggestions, SGA & QC

Ensure TEI activities are achieved 100%

Ensure self & Operator shopfloor safety

Drive continuous improvements activities across lines

Ensure systems & documentation work for IATF 16949:2016

Ensure manufacturing cost are achieved as per target

Drive First time quality through process capability improvements





Nature of Experience: 3 to 5 years

Qualification & Experience: DME or BE, 3 to 5 years experience

General Skill:

Hands on experience in Honing, Grinding, Assembly & functional

test, SPM process, machining and 2D marking

Hands on experience in Plastic laser welding, Plastic moulding,

Plastic heat stack welding, Plastic hot plate welding

Hands on experience in Laser End to End traceability

Should have knowledge on core production metrics (Kanban

system, WIP, Material management, 5S, Tools & consumables)

Technical and soft skills which include machining knowledge /

analytical and problem-solving skills/Root cause analysis /

Communication skills

Should have knowledge on SAP working

Personal Attributes: Understanding of the overall manufacturing process & desire to

bring innovations which improves the standards
