Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled VMC Operator to operate, set up, and monitor Vertical Machining Centre (VMC) machines for manufacturing precision components. The ideal candidate should be able to read engineering drawings, perform machine setup, inspect finished parts, and maintain quality and productivity standards while following all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate VMC machines as per production requirements.
Load and unload raw materials and finished components.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
Perform tool setting, tool offset corrections, and work offset adjustments.
Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Inspect components using measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
Replace worn or damaged cutting tools as required.
Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine preventive maintenance.
Record production, inspection, and rejection data accurately.
Follow quality standards, safety regulations, and 5S practices.
Coordinate with the Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve production issues.
