Job Title: Claims Support Associate / Commercial Insurance Claims Coordinator
Department: Commercial Insurance Operations / Claims
Location: Chennai, Tek Tower

Shift: U.S 5:30 PM to 3:30 AM IST
Experience: 1 -5 Years

Position Summary

The Claims Support Associate provides administrative and operational support to the Commercial Insurance Claims team. The role involves assisting with claim intake, documentation management, policy verification, stakeholder communication, and ensuring claims are processed efficiently and in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
Support end-to-end commercial insurance claims processing activities.
Review claim submissions for completeness and accuracy.
Verify policy coverage, limits, deductibles, and claim details.
Maintain and update claims data in insurance management systems.
Coordinate with claim adjusters, underwriters, brokers, insured clients, and third-party service providers.
Collect, organize, and track required documentation, including loss reports, invoices, estimates, and supporting evidence.
Monitor claim status and follow up on pending information or actions.
Prepare claim files and reports for review by claims handlers and management.
Respond to customer, broker,



and internal stakeholder inquiries regarding claim status.
Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
Assist in claims audits, quality checks, and process improvement initiatives.
Generate regular claims metrics, dashboards, and management reports.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
Experience in commercial insurance, claims administration, insurance operations, or customer service preferred.
Understanding of commercial insurance products such as:
General Liability
Property Insurance
Workers Compensation
Commercial Auto
Qualified Liability
Cyber Liability

Required Skills
Solid attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of insurance terminology and claims workflows.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple claims and prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Experience with claims management systems is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Customer-focused mindset with skilled stakeholder management skills.
