The position is accountable for:
Overall Warehouse & Logistic Management for the plant & External warehouse.
W/H & Logistic Budget control & Monitoring of Plant & Mother Godown
Ensure the Legal compliance w.r.t to warehouse &Logistics; operations.
Contract management warehouse & logistics related to plant.
SCRAP sale Management & reconciliation.
Waste disposal management & compliance.
JIT material supply planning for the Production includes the RM/PM & FG.
3rd party Material shipment & planning adherence
Ensure the timely availability of FG at depots as per plan
-Improve Despatch Compliance
-Ensure Timely Delivery of Goods
Control the Warehouse expenses and local freight within budget
To optimize the local freight cost
To reduce the OT cost by implementing staggered off
Monitoring and control of Operation cost - RM/PM &FG;
Maintain the dispatch accuracy by adherence to the pick list, cycle count
Ensure stock accuracy for RM/PM and FG
Maintain and comply with hygiene and food safety standards
Conduct the audits at other sites & getting audits conducted by others
Achieve high score in GWP and IWAM audits
Initiate recent technologies to ensure high process efficiency
To review / renew existing processes and develop recent processes / policies / SOPs / Ready reckoners
Active participation in current process/ technology development
Preferred candidate profile
Essential - B.E/ B.Tech / B com / M Com with Supply chain management/Inventory management course.
Desirable: MBA in Supply chain management/ Operations Management
