Role Overview

We are seeking a disciplined and analytical Options Trader to execute and manage options trading strategies focused primarily on short volatility (theta) strategies, including short strangles and other income-generating option structures.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and adjust positions based on market movements and volatility.
Manage portfolio risk through Delta, Gamma, Vega, Theta, margin utilization and position sizing.
Ensure compliance with predefined risk limits.
Hedge directional and volatility risk where required.
Maximize theta decay while maintaining controlled risk exposure.
Monitor economic events and volatility conditions.
Maintain trade records and daily P&L;/risk reports
Review performance and improve execution.

Required Skills

Solid understanding of options, Greeks, volatility, risk management, analytical skills, discipline, and proficiency with trading platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; qualified options trading experience; Python/Excel knowledge is a plus.

KPIs

Risk-adjusted returns, adherence to risk limits, P&L;, drawdown control, execution quality, and reporting accuracy.
