Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, vendor development, cost optimization, and timely sourcing of raw materials, packaging materials, engineering items, and indirect purchases required for manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Source and procure raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and engineering items.
Generate and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Identify, evaluate, and develop recent vendors.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, Finance, and Quality teams.




Compare quotations and prepare cost analysis reports.
Monitor supplier performance on quality, delivery, and service.
Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor databases.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
Resolve supply-related issues and expedite urgent material requirements.
Track inventory levels and initiate procurement based on reorder levels.
Work towards continuous cost reduction and process improvement.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in manufacturing, paper, printing, packaging, stationery, or FMCG industries.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Tally ERP, Oracle, or similar).
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Valuable knowledge of GST documentation and procurement processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
