Role & responsibilities
68 years of experience in backend/API testing with solid proficiency in Java
Design, develop, and execute backend/API automation using Java and frameworks like Rest Assured
Perform end-to-end API testing (functional, regression, integration, negative testing)
Validate data integrity using SQL (joins, stored procedures, complex queries)
Solid programming skills in Java (string manipulation, HashMap operations, Collections, Data Structures, design patterns – POM, Page Factory, Singleton ).
Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver(3, 4) & TestNG.
Experience in testing Playwright with JS/TS.
Robust understanding of SDLC & STLC
Collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams
Identify, track, and resolve defects with proper root cause analysis
Ensure quality in systems related to payments processing and transaction flows
Contribute to test strategy, planning, and framework improvements

Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test suites
