Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Tools Automation professionals with robust expertise in Datadog monitoring and systems engineering automation. The role focuses on building, automating, and optimizing monitoring, observability, and operational workflows across enterprise infrastructure and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities L3 Tools Automation Engineer
Provide L3 support for Datadog monitoring and alerting
Design and maintain dashboards, alerts, and monitors
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues
Automate operational tasks and monitoring workflows
Integrate Datadog with cloud, VM, container, and application platforms
Perform root cause analysis and continuous improvements

Systems Engineering Automation Lead
Lead the tools automation strategy across infrastructure teams
Architect scalable monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog
Drive automation initiatives using scripting and IaC tools
Define standards,



SOPs, and best practices
Collaborate with platform, cloud, DevOps, and security teams
Mentor L2/L3 engineers and review automation designs
Engage with vendors and stakeholders

Required Skills
Strong hands-on experience with Datadog
Systems engineering background (Linux/Windows)
Expertise in monitoring, observability, and alerting
Automation experience using Python, PowerShell, Bash
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)
Experience with APIs, integrations, and IaC tools
Robust troubleshooting and leadership skills

Positive to Have
Experience with containers Kubernetes monitoring
Terraform / Ansible exposure
DevOps SRE practices
Datadog or cloud certifications

Education
Bachelor s degree in IT / Engineering or equivalent
