We are hiring for an Automation Test Engineer role for our client, a technology company.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API testing
Build and enhance test automation frameworks using Selenium/TestNG
Execute automated and manual regression, functional, and integration testing
Identify, log, and track defects through resolution using JIRA or similar tools
Collaborate with developers to understand requirements and define test coverage
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines
Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
Report on test execution status, coverage, and quality metrics

Required Skills:
Robust hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
Proficiency in Java or Python for test script development
Experience with TestNG/JUnit and Cucumber (BDD)




Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman/RestAssured
Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA)
Strong analytical and debugging skills

Good to Have:
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter)
Exposure to cloud-based test grids (BrowserStack/Sauce Labs)
Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes
