The Role

The Senior Technical Consultant - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance will lead workshops with business stakeholders to gather and analyze technical requirements, while collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand those requirements. In this role, the consultant will work with the L1/L2 team to resolve production incidents, which are not limited to workflow configurations, technical changes, and customization. Responsibilities include designing and developing customizations using native extensions within Dynamics 365 Finance, as well as implementing integrations with external systems using APIs, data entities, and middleware. Additionally, the consultant will optimize system performance, troubleshoot technical issues, develop technical specifications, and ensure compliance with Microsoft standards. The role also involves performing code reviews and enforcing best practices for maintainability and scalability, supporting data migration activities to ensure data integrity, and providing technical guidance during implementation, testing, and deployment phases. Finally, the consultant will stay updated on Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform updates and recommend improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications
6 8 years of experience in technical development for Dynamics 365 Finance or AX.
Solid proficiency in C# and .NET frameworks.
Experience with integrations (REST APIs, OData, Data Management Framework).
Knowledge of Azure services (Logic Apps, Functions, Service Bus).
Familiarity with DevOps tools for build and deployment automation.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

Preferred Technical and Qualified Experience
Masters degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
