Accounts Payable Intercompany & Bank Reconciliation

Role & responsibilities
Perform accurate and timely reconciliation of intercompany / bank balances across multiple units.
Record and review bank charges accurately to ensure proper accounting treatment.
Identify and investigate mismatches or variances, coordinating with relevant teams for prompt resolution.
Ensure completion of all reconciliations within financial close timelines.
Ensure month-end and year-end closing processes through detailed reporting and proper documentation.
Coordinating with finance teams across units to gather and validate supporting information.
Prepare comprehensive reconciliation reports, schedules, and justifications for both internal reviews and external audits.
Generate and circulate regular status updates on intercompany reconciliation progress.
Proactively escalate unresolved issues or critical variances to senior management.
