Primary Purpose: The Costing & Budgeting Specialist will play a critical role in the financial planning and management of our design and construction projects. This position requires a robust understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis

A. Key Activities (Critical activities of the job)
Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for various design and construction projects, considering materials, labor, and overheads.
Budget Development: Develop and manage project budgets in collaboration with project managers and design teams, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis on project budgets, identifying discrepancies and providing insights to improve cost efficiency.
Reporting: Create and present financial reports and forecasts to stakeholders, highlighting key performance indicators and project status.
Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and other specialists to gather relevant data for accurate budgeting and cost management.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, pricing,



and regulations to inform budgeting processes and cost strategies.
Process Improvement: Recommend and implement best practices for budgeting and costing processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualification:
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Prior Experience:
Minimum 6+ years of experience and delivering responsibilities of Architectural role in real estate industry.

Expected Competencies/Personality Attributes:
Proven experience in cost estimation and budgeting, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and reporting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient in budgeting software and Microsoft Excel; familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
