Role & responsibilities
Optimize web applications for maximum speed, performance, and scalability
Conduct performance audits and identify areas for improvement across the entire stack
Implement performance optimizations, including code refactoring, caching strategies, and database optimizations
Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to streamline application architecture and codebase
Utilize profiling tools and performance monitoring techniques to identify and address bottlenecks
Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in web application optimization

Qualifications:
Previous Experience in working within E-Commerce or FinTech
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Experience with cloud services (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
Knowledge of caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached)
Familiarity with browser rendering optimizations




Understanding of CDNs (Content Delivery Networks) and edge caching
Experience with A/B testing and optimization strategies
Knowledge of security best practices in web development

Experience Required:

8+ years of experience in web development with a focus on customer delight through scalable and robust systems.

Functional / Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Next.js/React.js, and Node.js
Microservices with Pub/Sub architecture
Robust knowledge of relational database (MSSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Firestore)
Familiarity with front-end optimization techniques (e.g., lazy loading, code splitting)
Experience with performance profiling and optimization tools
