Own India Homes Limited's in-house legal strategy and drafting end-to-end from society negotiations through agreement execution to managing live litigation. An individual-contributor role coordinating external counsel, working alongside existing legal staff who handle tenant coordination and Section 138 matters.
Responsibilities
Draft, review and negotiate redevelopment agreements, PAAAs, development agreements, MoUs, leave & license agreements and conveyance documents.
Build and execute legal strategy for redevelopment projects, including title due diligence and risk assessment.
Manage litigation end-to-end society disputes, High Court matters and SLPs briefing and coordinating external counsel.
Advise on co-operative housing society law, RERA compliance and DCPR 2034 / development control regulations.
Track statutory and regulatory obligations and keep projects legally on track.
Requirements
LLB with enrolment as an advocate (Bar Council).
Minimum 5 years' post-qualification experience, ideally in real estate /redevelopment / co-operative housing law.
Robust command of legal strategy and drafting.
Working knowledge of co-op housing law, RERA, DCPR 2034 and litigation management.
Tech-forward: comfortable with digital tools, document automation and Al-assisted workflows.
Commercially-minded and able to operate independently.
